A new viola da gamba.

In December of 2021, I sent an email to Pierre Bohr, luthier in Milano, with the question if I could get a place on his waiting list. Fast forward 2 years and I booked a two-way flight from Amsterdam to Milano. One seat for myself, the other for my brand new viola da gamba.

Pierre Bohr did an amazing job making a viola da gamba based by a Joachim Tielke bass viola da gamba from 1699, currently in the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe in Hamburg.
